www.natchaug.orgNatchaug Hospital is the key provider of a regional system of care for children, adolescents and adults who are struggling to cope with mental illness and substance abuse problems. The hospital's 54-bed facility in Mansfield Center, CT, provides inpatient care for over 400 emotionally disturbed children and adolescents as well as 1,000 adults in crisis each year.

Natchaug's day hospital, after school and special education school programs provide treatment to more than 1,200 children, adolescents and adults each year through programs in Brooklyn, Enfield, Mansfield, Montville, Norwich, Putnam and Vernon, Connecticut.

Founded in 1954, Natchaug Hospital is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and licensed by the State of Connecticut. Our special education programs are approved by Connecticut's Bureau of Special Education.

We participate in most insurance and managed care programs and we're approved by Medicaid and Medicare.

Natchaug is affiliated with Hartford Healthcare.
