Independent Living
Independent living offers a service-rich environment that allows residents to
do the things that they enjoy the most without the worries of upkeep, security
or unexpected financial burdens of residing in their own homes.
The basic monthly fee usually includes daily continental breakfast and dinner
served by waitresses, as well as weekly housekeeping and laundry services. All
utilities except for telephone and cable television are also included.
Recreational, educational and wellness programs are an integral part of
independent living. For those residents that no longer drive, regularly
scheduled transportation to medical appointments, cultural activities and
religious services is provided.
Many communities offer residents and their families the peace of mind in
knowing that assisted living services are available should the need arise.
