Braceland Center for Mental Health and Aging
The Braceland Center for Mental Health and Aging is a division of The
Institute of Living and is committed to understanding and improving the mental
health of our aging population through research, education and consultation.
The Braceland Center collaborates with federal and state governments as well as local
service and educational organizations to assist them in training health care
providers to recognize and address the needs of older patients and clients.
Working in close partnership with The Institute of Living Geriatric Services,
Braceland provides training to undergraduate and graduate physicians, nurses,
social workers and other therapists. We also perform community service through
staff participation in numerous committees and advisory boards.
